What is Neurodiversity?
The idea that diversity or variations in brain function and structure are normal and appreciated differences among human beings. Judy Singer came up with the term neurodiversity in the late 1990s. Singer, a sociologist on the autism spectrum, believed her brain simply worked differently from other people's.
